Resumo

The next generation of galaxy surveys such as Euclid, DESI and SKA will probe even further the small scale galaxy clustering (GC) and weak lensing (WL) observables with an increased precision. In order to determine the cosmological model of the Universe, we need to understand alternative theories of modified gravity and dark energy at least in the mildly non-linear regime, provided we can take into account most of the other possible sources of systematics. In this talk I will present some forecasts on the DM-DE coupling parameter β using fitting functions from simulations, forecasts on mu and eta parametrizations of modified gravity and ongoing work on semi-analytics for the nonlinear power spectrum of Horndeski theories. I will also present simulations of growing neutrino quintessence in which structures and backreaction play a very important role. In all this cases a correct treatment of non-linearities will be crucial for testing these models against future observations.
