Resumo

The Cluster Lensing And Supernovae with Hubble (CLASH, Postman et al. 2012) survey is a Multi-Cycle Treasury program awarded with 524 HST orbits to image the cores of 25 massive galaxy clusters at intermediate redshifts (0.1<z<0.9). The survey combines the high spatial-resolution imaging from the ACS & WFC3 cameras with a specially selected 16-passband photometric filter system optimized for photometric redshift estimations which covers the whole UV+Optical+NIR wavelength range.

In this talk I will present a new photo-z pipeline for the CLASH observations which reaches an accuracy of dz/1+z<1.0% for cluster galaxies brighter than magnitude F814W<20, dz/1+z<2.0% for magnitudes brighter than F814W<22 and="" dz="" 1="" z="" 3="" 0="" for="" magnitudes="" brighter="" than="" f814w="" 23="" taking="" advantage="" of="" the="" superb="" quality="" data="" making="" use="" whole="" information="" contained="" in="" redshift="" probability="" distribution="" function="" p="" every="" galaxy="">3600 cluster member candidates are identified over the 25 clusters. The resulting sample, reaching an absolute magnitude MB <-13, represents an excellent dataset for galaxy cluster evolution studies.
