Helios and Helium : what is wrong with them ?

EWASS 2014 - Special Session Sp2

Geneva (Switzerland), 2 - 3 July 2014

 

The European Week of Astronomy and Space Science (EWASS) will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, between June 30th and July 4th, 2014.
 

Within that week we are organizing a Special Session on : Helios and Helium : what is wrong with them ?

 

We aim at gathering experts on asteroseismology, stellar models and 3D model atmospheres to discuss current puzzles about the Solar Model and low Main Sequence stars, as well as data synergy between Gaia and asteroseismology.

 

Our Special Session will stretch over two days. On Wednesday, July 2nd, it will start after the Gaia Symposium, being the natural continuation of some of the topics addressed there. On Thursday, July 3rd, it will focus on the remaining topics.

The deadline for abstract submission is March 15th.
