Two years post-doc position at the Observatoire de Paris (France)

The position can start from the end of 2013 and later in early 2014

The successful candidate will work in the field of stellar physics in connection with stellar seismology and in collaboration with people of our team at Observatoire de Paris.  The post-doc will work in particular on 1D models of the structure and evolution of stars, together with representative 3D Radiative Hydrodynamical Models.

The candidate should have a PhD in astrophysics, with a strong background in stellar physics. Experiences in 3D hydrodynamical code (such as CO5BOLD or STAGGER  code) and/or 1D stellar evolutionary codes are highly desirable.

The net income is about 2 100 Euros per month.
