Nuclear Physics in Astrophysics VI, 19-24 May, Lisbon, Portugal
The Local Organizing Committee would like to announce the Sixth International Conference on Nuclear Physics in Astrophysics (NPA-VI). This will correspond to the 26th Nuclear Physics Divisional Conference of the European Physics Society. The conference will be held at the Sana Malhoa Hotel in Lisbon (Portugal) on May 19th- 24th, 2013.
The series of conferences uclear Physics in Astrophysics started in 2002 at ATOMKI, Hungary. Ever since, this conference series has succeeded in bringing Nuclear Physicists and Astrophysicists together to review and discuss the status and prospects of the Nuclear Astrophysics field. The 6th edition of the Nuclear Physics in Astrophysics Conference will continue with this spirit.
The NPA-VI bridges various National Institutions and Societies to the Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics. The conference is hosted by the Nuclear Physics Centre, the Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (Astronomical Observatory of Lisbon), and the Laboratory for Systems, Instrumentation and Modeling in Science and Technology for Space and the Environment (SIM) from the University of Lisbon, the Faculty of Science and Technology (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), and the University of Coimbra; supported by the Portuguese Physics Society and the Portuguese Society of Astronomy under the umbrella of the European Physics Society.
