Resumo

The mass and radius are some of the fundamental properties to characterize exoplanets. The mass is derived from radial velocity measurements while the radius is measured with the transit method. Using random forests, a machine learning algorithm, we were able to estimate the radius solely from the radial velocity observables. I will show how this new method compares with previous works which have described a mass-radius relation dependent on the planet's type.
