Abstract / Resumo

The ongoing experimental programs on heavy ions collisions at RHIC (BNL, USA) and LHC (CERN, Switzerland) allow one to study the properties of strongly interacting medium and investigate corresponding phase diagram. New experimental data measured at the facilities LHC and RHIC can be used to create a solid bridge between high energy phenomenology and astrophysics. However, this is a highly nontrivial problem, since reliable modelling of the compact astrophysical objects requires very detailed knowledge of the hadronic matter properties at extremely high densities. Unfortunately, at the moment the lattice formulation of QCD is unable to provide us with the reliable information about the QCD matter phase diagram in the whole range of temperatures and baryonic charge densities. Therefore, application of phenomenological equations of state is inevitable in this field of research. One of the most important property of such models is a short range repulsion between the constituents. I propose a novel equation of state which is based on the virial expansion for the multicomponent mixture with the hard core repulsion. A surface tension induced by particle interaction is a principally new element of that approach. A developed equation of state is able to reproduce the higher virial coefficients which makes it applicable at high particle densities and provides wide range of its causality.
